Stained Glass Window

A Craft for Many Ages

By MK Publlisher Maggie Mackay December 1, 2011

Cheryl says:  Here's another wonderful craft contribution from Maggie Mackay.  Try adapting it to a Holiday and Christmas theme.  I love this because small children AND older kids, even teens can use their creativity here.  Thanks Maggie!

Easy, indoor entertainment with a beautiful end result!

 What you’ll need…

Clear contact paper

Squares of tissue paper

Tape

A BIG window

What you’ll do…

Tape clear contact paper over the entire window (sticky side out)

Allow your kids to stick multi-colored pieces of tissue paper all over the contact paper (no glue or take because it’s already sticky!!)

The beauty of this project is that kids of any age can participate! Older kids can create pictures using the tissue paper squares, while younger kids can have fun just sticking tissue paper to the window in a haphazard, but fun way!  Everyone's end result will be something beautiful!
